Design, Installation and Testing/Verification

Design

Working with architects, main contractors or the end customer, we will follow a rigorous checklist based on a thorough risk assessment and understanding of the layout of your buildings, including emergency escape routes and overall fire safety provision. Then we will design an emergency lighting system that’s right for you.

Installation

Emergency lighting installation must only be carried out by persons who are competent to install electrical wiring systems in accordance with BS 7671. Wherever possible, we’ll install emergency lighting at the same time as other electrical services, but if retrofit is necessary, we will manage that too.

Testing and verification

We will draw up a periodic testing schedule that meets your needs. We will ensure that your system is able to simulate failure of the normal supply and enable straightforward testing by the user, as well as periodic testing by qualified engineers.
