Summary of works:

The project comprised the design and build of mechanical and electrical services required during the construction of the School’s new four -storey infill block forming 12 new classrooms, head masters office and sports hall. The works also included mechanical & electrical services, refurbishment of the existing school kitchens and improvements to the lighting and fire alarm systems within the main school buildings.

The mechanical & electrical works included the incoming electrical supply; new mains distribution and sub-mains distribution and metering; new lighting – including emergency lighting and external lighting; small power services; a new fire alarm system; security systems including intruder alarm, access control and CCTV; a public address system; telephone and data  communications; lightning protection; earthing and bonding, Heating Systems, Ventilation, Domestic Water Services, Mains Services, Comfort Cooling, Automatic controls and Associated Wiring, BMS and Controls, Control  Equipment and Wiring Installation and Network Connections, LTHW Heating Plant and Distribution, Dirty Extract Ventilation, Twinned Extract Ventilation Systems, Heat Recovery systems and a combined heat and power system to form a co-ordinating combined mechanical and electrical installations.
